Dr. Kenny Broad is the Director of the Leonard and Jayne Abess Center for Ecosystem Science and Policy at the University of Miami. He is Professor and Chair of the Marine Ecosystems and Society Department at The University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science. Dr Broad is also the co-director for the Center for Research on Environmental Decisions at Columbia University and is an adjunct research scientist at the Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University.
He is more than just our PhD advisor: he is our inspiration, our rock, our funding, and our cheerleader.
